Explore the AI for Humanity Anthology
Discover how people and AI can work together to shape a more human-centered future.
This collection is organized into four vital parts, each focused on a major domain where artificial intelligence intersects with values, systems, and everyday life.
Grounded in the 1+1+AI=10™ methodology and SHINE™ Storytelling Framework, these chapters illustrate what becomes possible when real‑world expertise meets ethical, collaborative AI.
Throughout this site, all black and white images illustrating the four parts were AI generated by Matthew Guggemos, intentionally contrasted with full color photos of contributors to highlight that real people are at the center of this work, with AI as a supporting tool.

A living, evolving anthology
An innovative way to publish and keep ideas current
Use this evolving anthology to stay current with how leaders, educators, and innovators are thinking about AI, and to apply those insights in your own context.…
Read all four parts, explore 30+ contributors, and bring human-centered AI to life through real-world stories, frameworks, and tools you can apply right away. Each chapter is released as its own page, with clear guidance on related sectors, who it is for (leaders, professionals, students, educators, communities, and families), and the key questions it helps answer.
Instead of publishing everything at once like a traditional book, AI for Humanity is being released as a living, evolving anthology, with new chapters revealed weekly. This cadence keeps the work fresh and allows contributors to reflect their current thinking as AI, policy, and practice continue to change. Because chapters are digital-first, they can be refined, expanded, and connected to new examples over time, rather than becoming frozen at the moment of print.
At launch, one chapter from each part is available and highlighted in the Featured Chapters section on the home page, with additional chapters published weekly so you can follow the evolution of AI for Humanity over time. Within each part, chapter summaries include a chapter link that appears greyed out until that chapter is available, then turns white and clickable, making it easy to see what is live now and what is coming next.
Whether the goal is shaping policy, reimagining education, transforming organizations, or strengthening financial systems, this anthology helps translate insight into action, grounded in the 1+1+AI=10™ methodology and the SHINE™ Storytelling Framework.

Since Day 1, the American Society for AI has operated on a shared belief: “Bring good people together — and good things happen”. All great ideas, tools, technologies, and advancements come from great people; and with AI being the greatest technological advancement  of our time, it is critical that different perspectives, ideas, and backgrounds are brought together to help shape a better future for all.
Our goal was, and remains, both simple and ambitious: to create a better world with AI. By bringing together leaders to help shape & build the future of AI, and address its most pressing issues, we can responsibly advocate for the advancement of artificial intelligence. This anthology and platform are one step in a much longer journey to align innovation with dignity, fairness, and shared prosperity for everyone.

Join the Movement: Built by Humans with AI, About AI, For Humanity

AI for Humanity is not just a publication, it is a collaborative movement. You are invited to take part in the AskHumans Conversational AI study to share how AI is shaping your work, learning, and life. Your reflections will guide future chapters, tools, and experiences so this platform stays truly human-centered. This is a conversational AI experience, which means you can either speak your answers as short voice notes or type them, and the system will respond in real time like a guided dialogue. Become part of the story. Add your voice to the next chapter of AI for Humanity. In the study, you’ll be asked four short, open‑ended questions: “What excites you most, and what concerns you most, about AI in your work, learning, or daily life?” “What kinds of resources or experiences from AI for Humanity would be most useful to you (for example, case studies, classroom ideas, policy guidance, or family conversation tools)?” “If you could ask the AI for Humanity team for one piece of advice or support, what would it be? "If you could explore a collaboration with AI for Humanity, what kind of partnership, pilot, or learning experience would be most valuable for your organization or community?" Use the link or scan the QR code below to start the AskHumans Conversational AI survey and add your voice to the movement. If you are interested in partnerships, pilots, or bringing AI for Humanity into your organization, you can also indicate that in your responses so our team can follow up.
